Excursions & Desert Days
Dunes, gorges and kasbah roads — arranged by our own tour desk with drivers and guides we trust. Pick your circuit below, send one request, and add a bed at the foot of the ksar while you're at it.
Excursion · 01
The Sahara of the postcards — dunes 150 metres tall, a camel caravan at sunset, drums by the fire and dawn from the top of the erg. You leave from our door and come back to a hot shower and a tagine.
Offer — groups of four or more travel by private 4×4 at no supplement, and children under 12 pay half.
Excursion · 02
A crack in the High Atlas where 300-metre cliffs close to twenty metres apart. Walk the river in the shade of the walls, lunch under the palms, and be back for sunset on our terrace.
Offer — take the sunrise departure and the restaurant packs your breakfast basket on the house.
Excursion · 03
The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs — Skoura's palm groves, the rose valley of El Kelaa and the switchbacks of the Dadès gorge, with mint tea in a kasbah along the way.
Offer — combine this road with a Merzouga circuit and take ten percent off the second excursion.
Excursion · 04
The old salt road climbs from our door past Tamdaght and the salt mines to the painted salons of the Glaoui kasbah at Telouet — the quiet, spectacular back road to the Atlas.
